My confession

Okay, I'm going to admit it - I love to dress my kids to match me (or each other).  Sometimes Annika will see what I'm wearing and pick out a similar outfit herself, but often I do it for her.  Sometimes I don't even realize that I'm doing it, but most of the time I do it on purpose (and then pretend that it wasn't intentional).  ;)  I know it's kind of corny, but I think it's cute.

Don't you agree?

I totally used to do that with my girls too! I would always try to make sure we were at least co-ordinated, if not actually matching.

But then it just started getting too complicated. And now with them choosing their own outfits, it's next to impossible. :)

Although Joelle will often try to match her Mommy...probably because she knows I've got such good fashion sense. :)

Haha that's awesome! Ohhhh If my mom had done that she'd have had to wear some crazy stuff!
On a side note, I have to say, now that Annika is a little older, I can see a lot more of you in her face; when she was younger I thought she looked JUST like Carey. Not a bad thing, just interesting how faces grow :)

I think it's awesome. Karen already has 'opinions' so I'm not sure I can get away with it for long. When I was young, my mom used to sew us matching dresses - really beautiful stuff. We had lovely mother/daughter dresses that she made for a wedding we attended once. Just one of many great memories of my Mom. Thanks for reminding me!! And now I can share it with my daughter too!
