But we still have it. :)Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095955716348374738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87297114660110056.post-40098299012092077612012-04-26T08:07:17.120-05:002012-04-26T08:07:17.120-05:00You made a wise choice in keeping the flower girl ...You made a wise choice in keeping the flower girl dress. In my view, it's not a decluttering failure. It's considering Annika's feelings and giving her the opportunity to remember the wedding (she may need some help with that through photos, etc.). It allows her to make the decision about an important event in the early part of her life.
Being sentimental about specific things is OK. Some of us (I'm talking to myself) can become too sentimental :) about too many things. Keeping the sentimental rentention to a minimum is the best way to go. I'm still on that learning path ...
~ LilAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87297114660110056.post-4422779764767485832012-04-25T22:57:27.584-05:002012-04-25T22:57:27.584-05:00Clutter or no clutter it's a good choice. Remember we used to dress Chad up in it!

Looks like Cyndi isn't the only one using theirs to dress up someone who may not appreciate it.Krista Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06922976338390791653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-87297114660110056.post-2496343635526965952012-04-25T22:05:32.684-05:002012-04-25T22:05:32.684-05:00I got rid of some stuff that I'd been hanging ...I got rid of some stuff that I'd been hanging onto for some time and it took me a few years to do that. Hanging onto her flower girl dress is special - I wouldn't call it clutter. There are some things that it's OK to keep for sentimental reasons. I'd put it into a garment bag so that it is protected. My personal opinion is that you would have regretted it down the line.

(Cyndi kept her flower girl dress from my oldest sister's wedding. On their 25th anniversary, Cyndi put Brady in it!!! There are photos too!! He doesn't think it's as funny as his dear old aunts think it is!)Ginhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08519367556701136476noreply@blogger.com
